The Global ShareResource Foundation (GSRF)
The Global ShareResource Foundation (GSRF) was founded in 2001 by a small multi-racial group of professionals in New York City with diverse religious orientations whose intention was to open opportunities to underserved communities in many countries.
The GSRF holds fundraising events and sources grants for its projects. It is a 501(c)3 organization registered in New York.
Our Mission
Our mission is Helping the Poor Respond to Opportunity by partnering with nonprofit organizations whose programs are focused in providing basic education, livelihood skills training, preventive medical practices, empowering men and women in leadership, transitioning slum-dwellers to social housing and, use of water sanitation in rural areas.

Rev. Douglas Grandgeorge, President
The Rev. Douglas Grandgeorge, is the pastor of the Smithfield Church in Armenia, New York. Rev. Grandgeorge is a graduate of Yale University with a Masters in Divinity at the New York Theological Seminary, and Doctoral studies in Oxford. He was pastor of Central Presbyterian on Park Avenue in New York City, the First Presbyterian Churches in Whitestone and Ozone Park. He worked as a social worker at the City of New York, working with poor, abused, and homeless children in the city. He is presently Secretary of the Board of Directors of Surgeons of Hope Foundation that provides open heart surgery to disadvantaged children with heart pathologies around the world.

Marie Luarca-Reyes, Executive Director
Marie Luarca-Reyes worked as a Manager at Citigroup Inc., New York in the Corporate Compliance and Government Regulatory Office. She co-founded and was the first executive director of the European Network of Filipino Diaspora (ENFiD), a networking association of overseas Filipinos in Europe. During her term at ENFiD she was appointed Honorary Representative to Europe of the Commission on Filipino Overseas, a government agency that supports the social needs of Filipino workers abroad. Her previous involvements were as co-founder and Board Secretary of the Maria Montessori Cooperative School, a nonprofit preparatory school; founded and managed the Artists' Village, Inc. that assisted Filipino artists launch their artistic careers. Marie has post-graduate studies in Sociology at the New School for Social Research in New York.
Esmeralda O. Lyn, Ph.D., Treasurer
Dr. Esmeralda Lyn is in the Senior Team of Worldwide Capital Advisory Partners LLC, New York. She is Professor Emerita at Hofstra University having held the C.V. Starr Distinguished Professorship of Finance and International Financial Services from 2005 to 2011. She holds a Ph.D. in finance from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York at Baruch College, where she was awarded the Oscar Lasdon Prize for Best Dissertation. Dr. Lyn served as Vice Dean of the Frank G. Zarb School of Business, and as Chairperson of the Department of Finance. She was co-founding Director of the Merrill Lynch Center for the Study of International Financial Services and Markets; was finance officer at the United Nations; and had finance experience at Integrated Resources and Smith Barney Shearson.
Dr. Lyn’s expertise includes international finance and investments, corporate restructuring, corporate governance and socially responsible investing. She has published numerous articles in national and international academic journals and was the founding Editor-in-Chief of Corporate Finance Review published by Thomson Reuters.
Dr. Lyn serves as Board Director in several nonprofit organizations among them, the Institute for Women's Policy Research, the Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union and the National Committee of the Cross Catholic Outreach Box of Joy Program.

Cheryl R. Lehman, Director
Now completing 36 years as Professor of Accounting at Hofstra University (NY), Dr. Lehman served on the Board of the Institute for Women's Policy Research (IWPR), and the Warsaw-based Network of East-West Women (NEWW). She co-founded the Gender Issues Section of the American Accounting Association and was instrumental in founding the journal, Critical Perspectives on Accounting.
As a visiting scholar, Dr. Lehman has held positions in Australia and England and her research and advocacy venues include Canada, China, Cuba, Hungary, Japan, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Peru, Poland, Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine. A recipient of numerous awards, her promotion of interdisciplinary study is highly regarded. She is currently Editor of Advances in Public Interest Accounting, on the Editorial Board for a dozen journals and has published in numerous international refereed academic journals.
Dr. Lehman has a Masters in Social Work (MSW) and is a licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) interning with incarcerated youth. Exploring knowledge creation, migration, incarceration, gender, class and ethnicity she remains on the forefront of interdisciplinary research and unconventionality as part of the critical accounting task of transformation: providing pathways for thinking differently and aspiring for change.
Dr. Tahira Homayun, Director
Tahira is a retired obstetrician and gynecologist in New York. She founded, and is the president, of the Organization for the Advancement of Afghan Women (www.OAAWonline.org). Born in Afghanistan where she studied medicine, Dr. Homayun finished her medical education in the United States, doing internships at Christ Community Hospital in Chicago and residency at Beth Israel in New York City.

Philippe Lerch, Director
Philippe Lerch was the Treasurer of Surgeons of Hope Foundation Inc. in Nicaragua, and Executive Director of the Chaîne de l'Espoir. He set up the Surgeons of Hope Foundation, Inc. in New York in 2002 and was its first Executive Director. Graduated from the Paris Business School (École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris), Phihlippe worked at the French Foreign Trade Board (CFCE) for the United States and Latin America and was Regional Director for Chargeurs Reunis in Cambodia. He was director of international projects for French banks Paribas and Société Générale, in charge of transport programmes, hotel and hospital engineering, and project development throughout Africa, South-East Asia and the Middle East. He is actively involved with SPFA – Solidarité Protestante France-Arménie, an NGO engaged in the cultural, social and economic development of the country.
